Man Arrested For Embezzlement From Marin County Grocery Store: Report
Police said the 53-year-old gave unauthorized and excessive discounts to customers over the course of a year.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A Tiburon man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of embezzling more than $20,000 from a San Rafael grocery store, according to a report by The Marin Independent Journal.
The San Rafael Police Department stated that the store contacted authorities after discovering that Markelle Taylor, 53, had been giving unauthorized and excessive discounts to customers over the course of a year.
Taylor was booked into the Marin County Jail.
