Man Arrested In San Rafael Vandalism Spree
So far, nine victims have been identified, with damages exceeding $6,500.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – A man was arrested Tuesday in a vandalism spree that's impacted multiple businesses and caused thousands of dollars in damages in San Rafael, authorities said.
Timothy Goetze, a 20-year-old San Rafael resident, used spray paint to tag businesses from the Miracle Mile to Loch Lomond, San Rafael police Sgt. Lisa Holton said. So far, nine victims have been identified, with damages exceeding $6,500.
Police identified the suspect by obtaining surveillance footage from businesses in the area.

"The officers located videos which captured the suspect committing the vandalism, as well as an associated vehicle," Holton said. "They used the vehicle license plate to identify the registered owner and locate the suspect."
Goetze was arrested on suspicion of vandalism exceeding $400 and booked into Marin County Jail.
