Man Stabbed In Attempted Jewelry Robbery
The victim said he was walking when a person attempted to steal his jewelry, police said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA – San Rafael police said a person was stabbed during an attempted robbery Tuesday night.
Police responded to a request for a welfare check around 8:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Bahia Way, Lt. Dan Fink said.
Officers found a male victim with multiple stab wounds. Medics treated the victim and transported him to a hospital.

The victim told police he was walking when a male suspect grabbed a piece of his jewelry, and he was stabbed when he resisted, Fink said.
The stabbing suspect and another person fled the area together, police said.

The stabbing suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing a white short sleeve shirt and light-colored jeans.
The other suspect was a man in his mid-20s, 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
