Marin County Opens Nonprofit Assistance Application Period
County staff will review Nonprofit Community Partners applications and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors in June 2021.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Nonprofits that provide countywide services in Marin County are eligible to apply for the county's Nonprofit Community Partners program.
The program was created last year to formalize the way the county provides financial support to local nonprofits and add a layer of transparency to the decision-making process.
The Nonprofit Community Partners allotments are $10,000 to $40,000 and awarded once a year. Marin is allocating $650,000 to the program for 2021-22, which is $50,000 less than the last fiscal year due to budget challenges stemming from the coronavirus pandemic, according to the county.
