Marin Firefighters Relay To Benefit Burn Survivors
Fire engines and trucks from across Marin are traveling throughout the North Bay Wednesday for the North Bay Firefighters Burn Relay.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Fire engines and trucks from across Marin County are traveling in a caravan throughout the North Bay Wednesday to benefit burn survivors. The procession is part of the annual North Bay Firefighters Burn Relay, which raises awareness and funds for the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
The caravan is expected to make multiple stops throughout Marin, including in Mill Valley, Corte Madera, San Rafael, San Anselmo and Novato. The fire engines and trucks will travel with their lights on, fire officials said. Local law enforcement agencies and the California Highway Patrol are assisting with the event.
The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation is a California-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing burns and fires and providing services to burn survivors. The organization brings together health care providers, firefighters, emergency workers, burn care professionals, burn survivors and others in an effort to enhance the quality of life for burn survivors.
