I captured this beautiful bird at the Civic Center Lagoon a few months back, in the reeds near the bridge. Sat and watched him/her for quite a few minutes as it was feeding amongst the cattails. I so enjoy capturing the wild, beautiful creatures living close around us! I was told be a friend this is a 'Black Crowned Night Heron'.
