MARIN COUNTY, CA – A motorcycle-riding "Good Samaritan," who reportedly on Saturday witnessed two car break-ins and attempted to block the perpetrators' exit near the Golden Gate Bridge, was struck and injured as the vehicle involved drove off, according to the Marin-area California Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital after being hit at approximately 8:40 a.m. by a silver BMW in the southeast parking lot at the Golden Gate Bridge, the department said.

CHP investigators determined the sedan's occupants broke into two vehicles in the Golden Gate Bridge Visitor Center parking lot – crimes spotted by the motorcyclist, who "attempted to park in front of the BMW.
