San Rafael Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

San Rafael police released a drawing of a man suspected of robbing a Terre Linda resident at gunpoint in July.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – San Rafael police Wednesday released a drawing of a man suspected of robbing a Terre Linda resident at gunpoint in July.

The victim told police he was robbed around 4:25 p.m. July 19 in the driveway of his home in the Manuel T. Freitas Parkway and Montecillo Road area, according to the San Rafael Police Department. The suspect ran up to the resident, pointed a handgun at him and demanded the victim's wallet, police Lt. Alan Piombo said.

The suspect was described as a black man, 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and large round eyes, police said. He was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt that covered his ears and hair, as well as dark colored pants. A vehicle was heard leaving the area it was not seen.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the drawing is asked to call Detective Cpl. Ronda Reese at 415-485-3000. Anonymous messages can be submitted on the SRPD website.
