Power Restored To 99% Of Marin County
Some northwest Marin communities are still without power due to extensive powerline damage, according to county officials.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Power has been restored to nearly all of Marin County.
As of 10 a.m. Thursday, only 866 metered locations within the county remained without power from Pacific Gas & Electric Company's Public Safety Power Shutoff that went into effect Saturday.
The outage, which was triggered due to wildfire safety concerns, affected more than 118,000 metered locations across Marin and left nearly all of the county's residents without power for a minimum of 72 hours.

According to PG&E, the primary reason these communities remain without power is because they are part of a Sonoma County-based circuit, and that circuit sustained heavy damage during the strong winds over the weekend. PG&E must repair the damaged lines before they can be re-energized.
