San Rafael Pacifics Move Tryouts Again

The San Rafael Pacifics have moved their first open tryout to Laney College in Oakland, Calif., the team announced.  

This is the third location porposed for the tryouts. , but a scheduling conflict caused the tryouts to be moved to Benedetti Field at University of San Francisco.

An ongoing construction project at the University of San Francisco made Benedetti Field unavailable, so the new tryouts will be at Laney College on Sunday, Jan. 22 between 9a.m. and 4 p.m

All accomplished players are invited to try out. The Pacifics suggest that prospective players have professional or college playing experience. Major League Baseball scouts will be in attendance.

To register in advance, call the Pacifics at (415) 485-1563, or email info@pacificsbaseball.com with your name and phone number and a member of our staff will contact you. The registration fee is $100 for players who register in advance, or $150 to register the day of the tryout.

Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and the tryout starts promptly at 9 a.m. All players will be required to sign a waiver on the day of the tryout, prior to being assigned an official tryout number. Proper baseball attire is required.
