Say Hello To San Rafael Police Department's New Officers

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Coming soon to the streets of San Rafael are two new police officers: K-9 Officer Harry and K-9 Officer Achilles.

These two good boys are in training and in mid-March will replace two recently retired police dogs.

Officer Harry will accompany his human partner, Officer Scalercio, and Officer Achilles will team up with his human partner, Officer Brickell.

One of the recently retired dogs from the San Rafael agency was K-9 Officer Ares, honored for his six years of service at a City Council meeting. Ares will continue to live with the family of his second handler Officer Melodia.
