Seats Open On Marin Flood Control Zone Board

MARIN COUNTY, CA – There are open seats on the Marin County Flood Control Zone #10 Inverness Advisory Board.

Zone 10 includes areas west of Point Reyes Station and west of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Applicants must reside in and be registered voters of Zone 10.

Board members are appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors.

Advisory board meetings are held annually. Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District staff members participate in the meetings.

Residents with previous board experience, an interest in improving flood mitigation, and a commitment to the community are especially encouraged to apply, according to the county. Advisory board members serve four-year terms.
