Sip & Bid To Benefit Marin-Based Youth In Arts
Youth in Arts' virtual wine auction on July 24 will feature rare wines, tasting experiences and other local adventures.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — Enjoy a glass of wine and help raise money for children's arts programs from the comfort of your home during the Sip & Bid benefit for Youth in Arts in Marin County.
Youth in Arts' virtual wine auction on July 24 will feature rare wines, tasting experiences and other local adventures. All proceeds will benefit the San Rafael-based arts education nonprofit organization.
"We've been overwhelmed by the generosity of wineries and local businesses in this challenging time," said Morgan Schauffler, development associate of Youth in Arts. "There will be some fantastic items to bid on at the event."

The free event will feature the "Re-Stock Your Wine Cellar" raffle, which includes 20 bottles of wine valued at more than $500. Tickets are $25 each or $100 for five.
"The Sip & Bid is focused on raising funds to help us continue to reach students through digital learning platforms, because our students need art more than ever," Schauffler said.

Youth in Arts has served more than 1 million children since it was founded nearly 50 years ago, according to the organization.
When schools closed this spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, Youth in Arts shifted its programming to distance learning and offered YIACre8tes, free lessons in visual art, music and dance. The lessons remain available on the nonprofit's YouTube channel.
