Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested In San Rafael

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Police intercepted a suspected drug dealer during a patrol Monday in San Rafael.

Police spotted Robert Jean-Paul Acheritogaray, 28, of Corte Madera, make a suspected drug transaction at about 10:10 p.m. from his car parked at Second Street and Tamalpais Avenue, San Rafael police Lt. Dan Fink said.

Police detained Acheritogaray and found marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, promethazine, scales and other drug paraphernalia in his possession, Fink said.

He was booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and felony and misdemeanor violations of probation.

The other party was interviewed and released at the scene.
