Crews Halt Truck, Vegetation Fire Off Highway 101 In Marin County
The blaze sparked at the Sir Frances Drake and Highway 101 interchange in Greenbrae, fire officials said.

GREENBRAE, CA — A vehicle fire ignited Monday in Greenbrae, spreading to nearby vegetation and sending smoke over Marin County.
The blaze broke out at the Sir Frances Drake and Highway 101 interchange, according to the Central Marin Fire Department.
The truck fire was reported shortly before noon off southbound Highway 101, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log.

By 12:15 p.m., firefighters stopped forward progress of the flames, Central Marin Fire reported. Smoke continued to impact the area.
The fire shut down the Sir Francis Drake off-ramp for southbound Highway 101, according to the CHP. A Sig-alert was issued for the area.
