Threat Prompts Lockdown Coyote Creek Elementary School

A threatening message found scrawled in a campus bathroom prompted Tuesday's lockdown.

SAN RAMON, CA — A lockdown Tuesday at Coyote Creek Elementary School in San Ramon was prompted by a threatening message found in a boys bathroom. But after a police investigation, it was determined the threat was not credible.

The lockdown was announced on social media shortly after noon after a message in the main boys bathroom was found that read, “Evry body dies at 12:30."

San Ramon police were called and the campus was placed on lockdown in "an extreme abundance of caution," although officials said the school was never in imminent danger.
