CPR Saves Man, 45, Suffering Heart Attack on San Ramon Tennis Court
This is the second man saved thanks to the aggressive life-saving actions taken by San Ramon Police officers.

SAN RAMON, CA — Two police officers are being credited for helping save the life of a man who collapsed after going into sudden cardiac arrest while on a San Ramon tennis court Sunday morning, police officials said.
When officers arrived, a doctor was giving the 45-year-old man CPR. According to police, Corporal Michael Schneider used a defibrillator on the man. Officer Sophia Wrangham arrived and helped Schneider continue lifesaving measures until San Ramon Valley Fire personnel arrived.

Police said San Ramon Valley Fire crews took the man to the San Ramon Regional Medical Center where he is recovering.
This is the second cardiac arrest rescue Wrangham has been involved in this month. On July 10, Wrangham and two other officers helped save the life of a man who suddenly collapsed while on a treadmill at the San Ramon ClubSport. Full story here.
