SAN RAMON, CA — As of Thursday 40 San Ramon residents, or 48 in 100,000 people, contracted COVID-19, according to the county.

This week brought some cheery news for couples waiting to tie the knot: Contra Costa County will now allow virtual weddings.

  • 1,234 people tested positive for COVID-19 (+145 since last week), including 24 in the past 24 hours
  • 14 patients were hospitalized (-3 since last week)
  • 36 COVID-19 patients died (+7 since last week)
  • 26,854 people were tested (+10,427 since last week)
  • 1,034 patients have recovered (+115 since last week)
