Murder, Armed Robbery Suspect Caught By San Ramon Police

A suspect wanted for murder and armed robbery was chased in San Ramon and eventually apprehended in Pleasanton.

SAN RAMON, CA - A suspect wanted for murder and armed robbery was chased in San Ramon and eventually apprehended in Pleasanton, the San Ramon Police Department said in a social media post.

The suspect vehicle entered San Ramon as it fled, and San Ramon officers immediately joined the pursuit. California High School and Pine Valley Middle School were placed on a brief lockdown Tuesday during the nearby pursuit.

The suspect abandoned the vehicle in Pleasanton and fled on foot, police said. K-9 Officer Egan located the suspect, who then surrendered.
