1. 18-Year-Old San Ramon Driver Killed In Livermore Solo Crash (patch.com) — San Ramon residents are mourning after an 18-year-old from the city was killed in a solo crash early Monday morning in Livermore, when his Nissan Leaf left North Livermore Avenue and struck a concrete pillar. The teen, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene as CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.

Two Upscale San Ramon Boutiques Have Unfortunately Closed Bay Area Telegraph (bayareatelegraph.com) — Two original boutiques at San Ramon's City Center Bishop Ranch, M by Maggie Rizer and neighboring men's shop Trader, have permanently closed after nearly eight years in business. The independently owned fashion stores helped bring high-end, boutique-style shopping to the city, and there's no word yet on what will replace them in the center.

3. 2026 Bishop Ranch' Taste of City Center' Sept. 18-27 (San Ramon) (funcheap.com) — San Ramon diners can look forward to Taste of City Center, a restaurant week running September 18–27 at City Center Bishop Ranch with special prix fixe menus, limited-time dishes, and curated pairings. Guests who spend $300 at participating restaurants during the event earn a free ticket to the related September Sips celebration.

4. California Utility Expands Vehicle-To-Everything Programs To More EVs (forbes.com) — PG&E is showcasing its expanding vehicle-to-everything (V2X) program at its Applied Technology Services building in San Ramon, where an all-electric model home demonstrates how EVs can power houses and support the grid. More EV models, including Kia, Volvo, Polestar, Nissan and additional GM vehicles, are now eligible, with incentives up to $4,500 for qualifying customers through 2027.
