With city records citing conflicting retention periods and evolving statewide scrutiny of data sharing, residents are being urged to demand clearer public answers about how this surveillance system is configured and overseen.

S.F., Oakland men arrested for San Ramon armed robbery following pursuit, crash (contracostaherald.com) — San Ramon police report that a resident was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday evening at Cobblestone Apartments on Crow Canyon Road, with the suspects later arrested in Oakland after a pursuit and crash. Detectives are now tying the two men, already jailed in Alameda County, to the San Ramon case and are asking anyone with information to contact the department's Investigations Division.
   

3. Sign Up Soon For San Ramon's 2026 Fall Recreation Programs! City of San Ramon (opgov.news) — San Ramon's fall recreation season is now open, with limited-space programs for kids, adults, and seniors ranging from sports and music to nature workshops and community gardening. Residents can register online or in person at the San Ramon Community Center or Alcosta Senior & Community Center, with options for many budgets and interests across the city.
   

4. Culinary Angels looking for new executive director (danvillesanramon.com) — A Tri-Valley nonprofit that delivers free, nutritious meals to cancer patients and caregivers in Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon and Danville is searching for a new executive director after a quiet leadership change. Board members and the founder are sharing interim duties to keep services running smoothly while they interview candidates and emphasize the need for more diverse nonprofit leadership in the region.
