Police Called To Cal High Following Verbal Threat
A threat was called into Cal High Wednesday morning, police said.
SAN RAMON, CA — Police officers were called to California High School after a verbal threat was called into the school Wednesday, according to the San Ramon Police Department.
Officers immediately initiated an investigation after the call early Wednesday morning, according to a department spokesperson. Police determined that the threat was not credible, but officers remained on campus for the rest of the day.

Cal High and other SRVUSD schools have received numerous threats in recent years, all of which police deemed non-credible following investigations. In April, a threatening call prompted a secure campus and drone search. In May 2024, a caller said that explosive devices had been planted in the school and a shooting was imminent, resulting in an extensive lockdown and security perimeter.
