What are the annual median household incomes in different parts of town?

Drive through San Ramon and you might notice that some neighborhoods are more affluent than others. But just how wide is the disparity between different parts of town?
A new data-based website, Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks provides some answers to that question. The site uses U.S. census information compiled from the 2007-2011 American Community Survey to show median household income and monthly rents by census tract.

The data shows that the median household income in and around San Ramon ranges from $88,000 to about $170,000.
The highest neighborhoods are the blocks in the Windemere area, which report median incomes of $171,000 a year.

Nearby neighborhoods east of Dougherty Road are just below $160,000 a year.
The homes between Bollinger Canyon Road and Stoneleaf Road have annual incomes of $88,000.
As you go west of Interstate 680 the median incomes climb from $114,000 to $164,000 a year.
The homes around both the Crow Canyon and Canyon Lakes golf courses have median annual incomes of about $120,000.
The neighborhoods surrounding Interstate 680 and Crow Canyon Road are between $106,000 and $120,000.
The range for median household income in California is $53,000 to $68,000 a year.
