San Ramon City Council To Discuss Mayor's Future Following Stroke
On Tuesday night the council will receive an update on Mayor Dave Hudson, who suffered a stroke in January.

SAN RAMON, CA - The San Ramon City Council will receive an update at their Tuesday night meeting on the status of Mayor Dave Hudson, who has taken an extended leave since suffering a stroke in January.
The agenda item is listed simply as “Discussion and Direction Regarding Status of the Mayor.”
Hudson fell ill on Jan. 30 following a trip to Washington, D.C., according to an email from the city. The following day, Interim City Manager Steven Spedowfski informed the public that Hudson had suffered a stroke, but was “doing well and currently in recovery.” Vice Mayor Mark Armstrong has been assuming the duties of the mayor since then.
