Andrew Bogut Visits San Ramon To Have Child Safety Seat Installed
The department has trained car seat inspectors who help residents (and basketball players) make sure car seats are safely installed.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Police Department on Monday helped Golden State Warriors player Andrew Bogut install his child safety seat. Bogut recently returned to the Bay Area to play with the Warriors for the rest of the season.
Bogut connected with the police department through a contact he had with an employee of the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, according to a police spokesperson. The 34-year-old affable Aussie who stands 7 feet tall graciously posed for some fun photos with the officers and firefighters who helped make sure the baby seat was safely installed.

Thanks for stopping by @andrewbogut! We can't believe you traveled almost 8,000 miles just to have your child seats safely installed & inspected! Wait...what’s that? You came back to the #BayArea for something else? #ThreePeat @warriors #NBAChampions pic.twitter.com/6FADTvWjjK

Residents who don’t play for the Warriors can get their child safety seats inspected and installed, too. The service is free to residents and $25 for non-residents. Click here to book your appointment.
