Shooting Threats At Iron Horse Middle School Prompt More Police
The uptick in police activity comes as another graffiti message threatening a school shooting was found in a campus bathroom.
SAN RAMON, CA — Another threatening message scrawled in a student bathroom at Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon has prompted increased police presence at the campus.
The message found Thursday in a boys' bathroom read "school shooting 11/22 1:00," according to Denise Jennison, communications specialist for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
The campus was not placed on lockdown, but police were called and are actively investigating.

"There was an increased police presence on campus yesterday, today and there will be again next week, as needed," Jennison said. "We have asked anyone with information that may help identify the person(s) responsible to please report it to any adult on campus or via our anonymous tipline on the school website homepage."
A similar message threatening a school shooting was found Nov. 7 at the campus. It too was discovered in a bathroom. In that instance, the school was on lockdown for several hours until police determined there was no credible threat.
