Trio Busted For Stealing Booze From San Ramon Safeway: Cops
Police said the three also stole liquor from a store in Pleasanton and Alamo. More than $5,000 worth of liquor was found in the car.

SAN RAMON, CA — Three Tracy residents were arrested Wednesday night after they stole alcohol from the locked liquor cabinet at Safeway in San Ramon, police officials said. Police were called to the Safeway on San Ramon Valley Boulevard after loss prevention officers reported that the suspects allegedly stole $5,000 worth of merchandise from the store's high-end liquor cabinet.
Police said officers contacted the suspects, later identified as Tracy residents Juan Ibarra, 18, Gabriel Ibarra, 18, and Ana Ambriz, 30, and found the stolen booze in the car, which was parked in the lot. Officers confirmed the trio also stole alcohol from a store in Pleasanton and Alamo, according to police.
One of the suspects had a warrant for escape. All three were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and shoplifting.
