Woman Tried To Kill San Ramon Cop, Prosecutors Allege

SAN RAMON, CA — A woman is charged with attempting to murder an officer with the San Ramon Police Department while he tried to arrest her and subsequently leading police on a pursuit, Bay Area News Group reported.

The paper reported that on March 12, Officer Bradley McKinney was trying to arrest Tatiyana Rashan Wills, 21, on suspicion of stealing $2,500 from two stores when she tried to back her car into him, according to court records.

McKinney suffered minor injuries after getting out of the way and Wills led police on a chase to Oakland, Bay Area News Group reported.
