• Cottage Health Leaders Call Rising E-Bike Injuries an 'Epidemic' (noozhawk.com) — Cottage Health is tracking a sharp rise in e-bike injuries and is now collecting detailed data from its Santa Ynez emergency department, alongside Santa Barbara and Goleta. With e-bike crashes now outpacing regular bike injuries and many riders skipping helmets, hospital leaders are pushing for stronger safety education, feasible legislation, and low-cost helmet programs that Santa Ynez Valley residents can access right away.
• SBCAG Marks 60 Years, Says Billion-Dollar Highway 101 Project 'Almost Done' (noozhawk.com) — Regional transportation planners say a new 9-mile multiuse trail is in the works for the Santa Ynez Valley, part of a broader slate of Measure A–funded projects.
