SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The following is a week's collection of police, court and fire stories from around Santa Cruz County.

• Alejandro Fernandez, 27, of Watsonville, was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, DUI, and a probation violation.

• During a traffic stop in Scotts Valley, police say they found ammo, illegal drugs and stolen IDs inside the suspect's vehicle.

• The man is suspected of exposing himself to two teen girls who were hiking near the Garden of Eden Trail in the 4000 block of Highway 9.

• According to Watsonville police, they are ramping up efforts to educate illegal street vendors.

• An investigation is being conducted into determining the cause of his death.

• The items ranged from credit cards and identification cards to blank checks and account login information, officials said.

Oxycontin Maker Sued By California, State Joins Santa Cruz Co.

• The seizures were part of two separate investigations by Santa Cruz County deputies.

• The driver of that vehicle suffered serious injuries and had to be pulled away from the wreckage before it started burning.
