Recall petitions for Councilmembers Glover and Krohn were filed in June. Petitioners took issue with their efforts to keep open the Ross Camp, create permanent homeless encampments in residential areas and more.

Krohn said recalling him would be undemocratic since voters elected him to a two-year term in 2018. Both candidates decried the petitioner's claims, calling their claims false.

"No politician has ever made everybody happy," Glover wrote. "I can't claim to make the impossible happen, but can ensure that every voice is heard, to the best of my abilities."
