What is the primary reason you are running for this office? I am a born and raised Santa Cruz resident who believes strongly in the future of my hometown. I entered the race in order to address two issues: public safety and the structural deficits that are driving us towards insolvency.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? My top priority as a member of Council will be protecting the citizens of Santa Cruz. I will do everything in my power to prevent the spread of gang violence and the drug trade, and address the problem of vagrancy and panhandling downtown.
What sets you apart from the other candidates? I am born and raised in Santa Cruz, and I have a perspective of someone who has had enough of politics as usual. I am not beholden to any special interest, and I do not advocate an agenda that we have heard all too often. I believe strongly in the future our City, and my campaign platform is that of a regular citizen who has taken a strong interest in our community.

What is the biggest problem in Santa Cruz? I no longer feel safe for myself and my family to go downtown. That is what prompted me to enter this race.
