Santa Cruz County Family Seeks Help Locating Missing Relative
The 20 year old has not been heard from since mid-January, sheriff's office said.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a Santa Cruz man reported missing last week, Santa Cruz County sheriff’s officials said today.
Oswaldo Mendez-Chavez, 20, was reported missing Feb. 18 by a family member who typically talks to Mendez several times a week on the phone. He had not been heard from since Jan. 17, so the family contacted authorities, according to the sheriff’s office.
Mendez-Chavez is described as a 20-year-old Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds and has no visible scars or tattoos, sheriff’s officials said.
