SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A Marina family was reunited with their French bulldog, Mila, after she was stolen from their home in October, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said. Mila's family told deputies that they knew where their beloved Mila was. A Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputy and animal control personnel visited the suspect and verified Mila's identity thanks to her microchip.It's still unclear who stole Mila, so the sheriff's office said it has not made an arrest in the case. Charges are pending.Deputies brought Mila back to her family for a paw-some reunion. "Tail-wagging and tongue out, Mila was reunited with her family," the sheriff's office said. "Welcome home Mila!"
