Trio Arrested, Drugs Confiscated After Citizen Tip
Methamphetamine, heroin, scales and drug paraphernalia were found in the suspects' car, officials said.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – Following up on a citizen's call regarding possible drug use in a parked car, Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies made three arrests and seized drugs and paraphernalia, officials said.
Deputies found the vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Ocean Street Extension and arrested the threesome inside, identified as Kelly Cavanaugh, Donna Socher and Aurelio Morales, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
Deputies also recovered methamphetamine, heroin, scales and drug paraphernalia, according to officials.

The three were arrested and booked on suspicion of drug-related charges, deputies said, adding, "Thank you to the person who called us, we could not do this job without the communities’ eyes and ears."
