Woman Killed In Felton Crash ID'd As Bonny Doon Resident

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A woman killed in a Felton truck crash late Saturday has been identified as a Bonny Doon resident, according to Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Dee Baldwin.

Jennifer Gross, 34, died after the truck she was in crashed down an embankment. The CHP said the crash was first reported at 11:53 p.m. on Felton-Empire Road just west of Fetherston Way. The truck fell more than 100 feet down the embankment.

Gross was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was seriously injured the crash and was transported to a hospital. His immediate condition is unknown.

CHP was investigating whether any other vehicles were involved.
