Developed by the Santa Monica Public Library with community partners, the Mexican Presence in Santa Monica collection supports Hispanic Heritage Month events and offers a lasting resource for research, exhibits, and local storytelling.
   

• The Georgian Welcomes New Artists in Residence, Honoring Its Legacy with Icons of Art and Music (westsidecurrent.com) — Santa Monica residents can visit The Georgian Hotel's free Thierry Lefort exhibition, running through Oct. 9 at Gallery 33 on Ocean Avenue. The new works, created during Lefort's on-site residency, explore the shared light and atmosphere between Santa Monica and the South of France, offering locals a chance to experience international art in a historic neighborhood landmark.
