Co-Working Space Will Replace Barnes & Noble In Santa Monica
The wellness-oriented co-working space, work well win, will replace the former bookstore at 1201 Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica.

SANTA MONICA, CA – The former 30,000 square feet Barnes & Noble space at 1201 Third Street Promenade will be replaced by a co-working space called work well win, it was announced Tuesday. Work well win is opening 90 locations in five years – in addition to Santa Monica, the company is opening co-working spaces in Venice Beach, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Austin, Chicago, and Washington D.C. in 2018.
Work well win has wellness integrated into its design with hallways made for natural light, purified air, meditation rooms, on-site fitness, organic local food, and more. The space will open in fall 2018, and will occupy the top two floors of the three-story building.
Santa Monica is increasingly attracting large corporations to open satellite offices so they can accomodate their employees, according to Founder and CEO of work well win, Frank Bistrian.

"We're presenting a model that hasn't been introduced yet: well-working, a co-working space with wellness integrated in the fabric of its being, that targets mature, healthy professionals and satellite office groups looking for an affordable, prime location office with flexible lease terms," Bistrian said. "As the only well-working space on the Promenade, we're thrilled to soon join the Santa Monica community and become immersed in its culture."
