Piper Preschool, a new Westside school for toddlers and preschoolers, has announced its 2014 opening in Santa Monica. The 15,000 square foot facility at 807 Arizona Avenue in Santa Monica will welcome families with children from ages six months to six years beginning in mid-January, with admissions currently underway.
Piper is the brainchild of founders Crystal and Jesse Biltz, who have many years of experience in education in West LA. Crystal, who has a master’s degree in education and school psychology, spent several years at the acclaimed Brentwood School, where she held a role on the admissions team. The couple went on to open the renowned Cassidy Preschool in Santa Monica in 2009.
Piper Preschool features nine classrooms and various programs, including a parent and child program, a transition program for toddlers, a preschool program, and a transitional kindergarten. Enrichment classes, kindergarten readiness, and extended hours (“Cherries on Top”) are also offered. In addition, a summer program is available to complete a year-round schedule.
Piper Preschool will open its doors in January 2014. Admissions are underway now and more information can be found online at www.piperpreschool.com. A temporary admissions office is also now open on campus for inquiries and more information.
