Police Youth Group Volunteer Accused Of Molesting Boys

The Santa Monica city employee, is the second Police Activities League volunteer to be accused of molesting children in the program.

SANTA MONICA, CA – A Santa Monica city employee was arrested Thursday morning in connection to a series of alleged molestation incidents. Eric Uller, Principal Technology Analyst for the city's information technology department, is accused of sexually assaulting four male victims while volunteering with the Santa Monica Police Activities League (PAL), ABC7 reported.

Uller was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’ Special Victims Unit for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor 14 or 15 years old, according to Sheriffs officials.

City officials said they were "deeply disturbed by the allegations that led to the arrest," according to a statement issued Thursday to the Santa Monica Lookout.

Uller was placed on administrative leave, said Constance Farrell, Santa Monica's public information officer. He is the second person associated with Santa Monica PAL arrested for child molestation, according to Santa Monica Lookout.

Uller is scheduled to be in court on Oct. 22, and his bail was set at $2 million, ABC7 reported.
