Sanders, Clinton & Trump Campaigning Hard in Southland
The three will appear in a slew of in-person appearances throughout the Southern California region in the coming week.

LOS ANGELES, CA - With California's presidential primary just over two weeks away, the Southland is in for a busy week of in-person politicking by all three remaining major-party candidates.
Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders is ramping up his local presence in the Golden State with Monday events in East Los Angeles and Santa Monica and a rally in Anaheim on Tuesday morning.
Sanders will hold Monday rallies at Lincoln Park in East Los Angeles, at 3501 Valley Blvd., at 9 a.m., and at the Santa Monica High School football field at 601 Pico Blvd. at 4 p.m.

The Vermont senator will hold another rally Tuesday at 7 a.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim Ballroom, at 800 W. Katella Ave.
Sanders spent the weekend in Southern California too, speaking to crowds in National City on Saturday, and has events planned Sunday in Vista and later at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater.

Sanders' opponent for the Democratic nomination, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will be in Los Angeles for two fund-raisers on Monday, followed by three Southland events on Tuesday.
The first fund-raiser will be at the home of Bryan Lourd and Bruce Bozzi, with tickets priced at $2,700, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service. Lourd is the managing partner of the Creative Artists Agency talent agency. Bozzi is a co-owner of The Palm restaurants chain. The event is also hosted by Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine Vogue.
An evening fundraiser in Hancock Park will follow, with tickets priced at $1,000.
On Tuesday, the former first lady will appear at 10:45 a.m. with Rep. Karen Bass for a discussion of foster care at the Community Coalition at 8101 S. Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
Next, Clinton will appear at a labor rally at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 11, at 6023 Garfield Ave. in Commerce, at 12:45 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m., she is scheduled to participate in an "organizing event" in the Johnson Family Practice Center at UC Riverside, at 900 University Ave. That event will be open to the public. The Clinton campaign said details about an additional event in Orange County on Wednesday or Thursday would be announced soon.
Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump will appear in Anaheim on Wednesday and in San Diego on Friday.
The businessman's Wednesday rally is scheduled for noon at the Anaheim Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. Trump's Friday rally at the San Diego Convention Center will begin at 2 p.m. People wanting to attend either of those events must register for tickets on the candidate's web site, www.donaldjtrump.com.
California's primary is June 7. The deadline to register or make any changes to party affiliation is 11:59 p.m. on Monday.
Los Angeles residents can apply online -- or check their registration status -- by visiting www.lavote.net. Registration forms are also available at libraries, post offices and most government buildings, and they can be mailed in or dropped off at 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk.
