Santee Park Watch

Following up on the nice article in Thursday's U.T. (South/East County Section), my wife and I started our Park Watch yesterday morning.
It was cool, damp and breezy but there were still a lot of folks using the Park.  We found a few minor problems like holes in a fence, one shopping cart and some light trash (which we picked up), but Mast Park is looking good for its age.  We talked with some friendly folks and enjoyed our tour.  We look forward to walking Mast Park West next week and hope others will join in this worthwhile and enjoyable project.
