• Sausalito council postpones city charter question (marinij.com) — Sausalito’s City Council has hit pause on asking voters this November to adopt a city charter and potentially raise property transfer taxes, opting instead for more public outreach. Councilmembers cited resident concerns, tight timelines, and competing priorities like Marinship zoning changes and affordable housing proposals, and now plan informational meetings later this year before deciding whether to try again in 2028.
