70-Year-Old Man Struck by Car in Sherman Oaks

A 70-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Sherman Oaks Monday night and critically injured.

The accident occurred around 9:25 p.m. in the 14000 block of Ventura Boulevard, between Woodman and Hazeltine avenues, an LAPD officer said.

It was not known if the driver involved stopped at the scene, the officer said.
