Police Chase Stolen Party Bus Through Los Angeles
The California Highway Patrol had been chasing a party bus along the San Diego (405) and Antelope Valley (14) freeways.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A police chase of a stolen party bus came to a dramatic end with a crash in Los Angeles County Tuesday afternoon.
The driver of an allegedly stolen party bus led police on a chase along the San Diego (405) and Antelope Valley (14) freeways Tuesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol had been chasing the bus at high speeds from the Sherman Oaks to the Newhall area. The bus was heading north along the 14 freeway when it exited and rear-ended a vehicle on Pearblossom Highway.

Authorities believe the bus may have been stolen in the San Diego area. The owner of San Diego-based Top Dog Limo Bus told KTLA5, the party bus was stolen this morning when the limo driver exited the vehicle while picking up a client. She said someone jumped in the vehicle and sped off, and the vehicle had a full tank of gas.
Live aerial footage by ABC7 showed CHP officers throwing a spike strip in the road ahead of the bus in the Newhall area, but the driver managed to evade the strip. According to ABC7, the driver is a man, but due to the tinted windows of the bus, it's wasn't immediately clear if there are passengers in the bus.

After the bus rear-ended a compact white sedan, it came to a stop. CHP officers with guns drawn, detained the driver and boarded the bus.
