About the Class
Designed
for busy beginners, this class focuses on a straightforward approach
that is highlighted by a flexible schedule. You will master the
essential skills needed to maintain a healthy starter, learn the basics
of bulk fermentation, and practice techniques to bake a crusty,
flavorful loaf.
What you will learn:
- Starter Basics: How to feed, store, and revive your sourdough starter.
- Sourdough Bread Basics: How to adjust your recipe, mix, fold, and proof your dough.
- Shaping, Scoring and Baking Techniques: How to shape the dough and use a blade, then options to bake it to create a beautiful loaf.
Participants will leave with complete instructions, a jar of active starter, parchment paper, a scoring tool, and bread dough ready to bake the following morning. Dough container provided.
