Join Jack London Park Partners and Sonoma Ecology Center staff in a series of intermediate hikes, guided in Spanish, between Jack London State Historic Park and Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Each hike is a round trip, returning to the starting point, and will increase in length or difficulty. Not appropriate for children under 12 years old.
1.Sat. Oct. 10 – Jack London's Ancient Redwood. 3.72 miles, 620 ft. elevation (meet at Jack London State Historic Park).
2.Sat. Oct. 17 – Sugarloaf's waterfall loop. 2.39 miles, 610 ft. elevation (meet at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park).
3.Sat. Oct. 24 – Upper Fallen to Camp Via to Fern Lake at Jack London. 5.72 miles, 1,150 ft. elevation (meet at Jack London State Historic Park).
4.Sat. Nov. 7 – Gunsight Rock at Sugarloaf/Hood Mountain Regional Park. 6.44 miles, 2,129 ft. elevation (meet at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park).
5.Sun. Nov. 15 – Sonoma Ridge in Sonoma Developmental Center/Jack London. 9.67 miles, 2,126 ft. elevation (meet at the intersection of Arnold Dr. and Harney Rd., inside the SDC).
6.Sat.Nov. 21 – "The Big Loop" at Sugarloaf. 7.37 miles, 1,739 ft elevation (meet at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park).
