Celebrity Chef Helps Feed Northern California Wildfire Evacuees
Santa Rosa resident and restaurateur Guy Fieri has set up a kitchen to cook meals for those displaced by the fires.

SANTA ROSA, CA — Celebrity chef and Santa Rosa resident Guy Fieri and his team have set up two kitchens to help feed some of the many residents evacuated during the North Bay wildfires. The Salvation Army said Fieri and his team are cooking and serving lunch and dinner from the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building through the weekend.
The Salvation Army will continue to prepare and serve breakfast meals for the three Santa Rosa evacuation centers, which include: the Finley Community Center, the Grace Pavilion and the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building. The Salvation Army has served 40,000 meals to those affected by wildfires this week.
More than 5,000 people are still evacuated due to the 21 wildfires raging in the state. The fires have left 27 people dead, and hundreds more are still missing. The massive wildfires continue to race through Northern California leaving a wake of ash and destruction with 191,437 acres burned across the state.
