Felon Runs From Sonoma Co. Deputy, Tasered, Arrested: Sheriff
The 23-year-old was being held without bail Monday.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A wanted felon was Tasered and arrested Sunday night in Sonoma County after running from a deputy, sheriff's officials said. A deputy spotted two people in a car at a gas station at 5060 Redwood Drive in Rohnert Park and recognized Nathan Wilson, 23, as a felon who has history of firearm possession, according to Sonoma County sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Crum.
As the deputy went to contact the people in the car, Wilson allegedly ran from the scene. The deputy followed Wilson, giving several commands for Wilson to stop, Crum said.
The deputy soon caught up with Wilson in the 5000 block of Redwood Drive, the sergeant said.

"Because of his past history with firearms and the fact that he was a fleeing felon the deputy incapacitated Wilson by using his Taser," Crum said. "While arresting Wilson a loaded firearm was located in his jacket pocket."
Sonoma County jail records showed Monday that Wilson remained behind bars and was being held without bail. His booking charges included allegations of being a felon in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, being a felon in possession of ammunition and carrying a firearm in public.
