Hwy 12 Blocked In Sonoma County Following Sunday Night Accident

The collision is at Dunbar Road.

Both lanes are blocked on State Highway 12 in Sonoma County following a possible head-on collision that may have resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP Officer William Ogilvie said officers responded to a report of a collision on Highway 12 at Dunbar Road in Glen Ellen, a census-designated area of Sonoma County, around 6:20 p.m.

Preliminary reports indicated two people were trapped in one of the involved vehicles and as of around 6:50 p.m., Ogilvie said two ambulances were en route to the scene.

Two people are believed to have moderate injuries and one person is believed to have minor injuries, he said.

There is no estimated time for the roadway to clear, he said.
